I was recently fortunate enough to see the 2012 premiere of The Bodyguard in New York, and am very happy to say that I have been able to see this movie again, and I'm glad to have experienced it for myself. I was excited to finally be able to see a movie based on a true story from actual members of the Mormon community that can confirm what I have read in these comments. I think the issue that has been raised here is the focus on the physical aspects of this film, which has taken away from the rich social commentary that goes on in the script. I think that, while this movie does not feature a great deal of nudity, it is still a film that is touching and is about healing, even though the subject matter may be disturbing to some viewers. The movie is a spiritual journey, and through the series of flashbacks that explore the values of the characters, we see the strength and compassion and loyalty that is implied in the physical aspects of this film. In the first, the main character, Eric Stoltz, is doing the impossible, as he refuses to let his family get in the way of his love for his true love, whom he had always admired. In the second, he lets the phone ring, and the very short time that the person on the other end answers the call, he becomes aware of the beautiful and ever-changing woman who is sitting next to him. The third, he lets her decide whether or not to stay with him after he moves out, and this decision involves a lot of emotions. These were all ways of him letting his true love know how much he loves her, but also how important it is to stay true to himself and his family. While I do not believe that The Bodyguard was intended to be a religious film, the importance of the religion is strongly implied, and the powerful message of this movie is that no matter who you are, what you believe, or what your religion says, we all have a true love for one another. This movie can help people understand that, even though there are differences in our beliefs, we all have a true love for one another. It is a beautiful film, and I was glad to be able to see it again, in a different environment. I hope that others will be able to see this film, as it is a wonderful reflection of the values that are linked to the idea of "serve and protect".

This film is about a man named Jack Treacy who has been in jail for 10 years and has been on death row since 1997. Jack is brought in by his cousin to see how the old prison would look like after it is rebuilt. After talking with the guards, Jack finds out that the prison is going to be torn down and his cousin is going to pay for it. Jack realizes that he has been denied a chance at a life. He has to live in a trailer with a woman and a 15 year old kid who is often left behind at night. Jack also has to work the graveyard shift at a grocery store where the young boy calls him Papa-bam-bam and Jack thinks that he's homeless. As he hears about the impending demolition of the prison, Jack decides to do something to help. He goes to a museum to donate a painting to the museum. He also arranges for another inmate to be released from the same prison and he goes to the prison to help. Along the way, he runs into the young boy and Jack also is befriended by the woman he works at the grocery store. This film is a documentary about Jack Treacy. He doesn't want to go to death row, but he knows that a life sentence would be inhumane. He makes a pact with himself that after ten years he will kill himself. But the boy in his life also wants to die. Jack is granted time to save his life and kill himself. The boy's uncle isn't happy that the boy is killing himself and the uncle turns out to be Jack's nemesis. This film is about Jack Treacy's struggle to kill himself and not have to be at the mercy of the law. Jack Treacy has to deal with the mother, the uncle, the teenager, and the 15 year old that he lives with. This film is an amazing movie about what it is to be locked up for life.

Spirits in the Forest is a documentary film by writer/director Amanda Palmer. The film tells the story of Steve Zissou, a great blues guitarist who was arrested for playing his guitar at the wrong time of day when a man named Larry Clark (Robert Patrick) was entering the store he worked at and was shot by Clark. Clark had already killed Zissou's wife in a jealous rage and had been threatening Zissou for a long time with his own knife. As the years passed, Zissou lost contact with his fans. He started to become too old to play the guitar. When his father passed, Zissou saw a world for himself. He had to travel to California in order to find a new band to play with. He finally found them in S.E.W. (Heaven And Earth), an extremely rare and obscure country band that were found in an obscure bunker in San Francisco. For years, Zissou struggled to find a band to play with and get him back on the road. One day, he had an idea to record with the band, but they were in a funk. So, he called the manager of the band and told him that he would pay the band $20,000 for the record if they could get an audition with Steve Zissou. The manager agreed and Zissou played with the band for two weeks. During this time, Zissou had to discover what it is to be a musician. Throughout the whole film, Zissou was incredibly humbled and appreciative of the opportunity that the film offered him. He wanted to give back to his fans who never gave him a chance. Through the film, Zissou and his manager got to know the people in the band. Zissou and his friend grew closer and Zissou met several of his old friends who were still alive today. Through these years, Zissou became a much better person. He found his voice and began to create his own type of music. The film was definitely inspirational and most definitely an important document of a great musician.
