I am a big fan of Martin Scorsese's films and i was expecting something similar to the brilliant "Raging Bull" but "The Long Goodbye" was a disappointment, even though the film is still very good. The story is very much a typical gangster film, and i don't see the problem with that. As for the performances, the performances are good, the cast does an excellent job and each character is portrayed well. However, the story is not so good, it is too long and the script is not so interesting. Although the film is entertaining and a lot of the characters are played well, there is not much in the script to enjoy. If you are a fan of gangster films then this is one to watch, but if you are looking for a film with a strong story, i would recommend another film. "The Sopranos" is a great film with a good story and excellent performances. The Long Goodbye is a great film with a good story, but it is too long and not so entertaining. I would recommend this film to all gangster fans, but the script is not very interesting and it is a bit boring. Overall, a very good film with a good cast, but it is not good enough to make it a classic gangster film. 9/10

I was never a fan of The Godfather but after seeing this film I was shocked at how much I loved it. I loved the way it was filmed, the way it was directed, the music, the acting and the story. I was never disappointed. The story is a great one. I felt like I was in the middle of the 1920's. The music was great, the actors were great, and the story was great. I don't know how else to put it. I don't know if I will ever get tired of this film, but I will be sure to watch it again. I am so glad I saw this film. It has changed my life. I will be sure to buy this film when it comes out. It is a must see.

Mann's film shows us a world where a gangster's life is all about money and power. Mann does this by showing us how the gangster lives, how he lives, how he lives. Mann's film is full of strong and powerful performances. It is a film that is one of the best crime films ever made. The film is full of memorable scenes and the performances are so powerful and believable that they become a part of the film. Mann's film is a powerful film that is a must see for all crime fans.

I just watched this movie for the first time today, and I was very surprised. I am a fan of the mafia movies. But this one really blew me away. It is a very dark movie, but it is also very funny. The actors were great, and I really enjoyed the story. I hope that this movie is shown in theaters. I would recommend this movie to anyone, and I would recommend it to anyone that likes movies like this. I give this movie a 10 out of 10. If you are a fan of mafia movies, I would recommend this movie.

I first heard about this movie when I saw the news about what was going to be on at the cinema that day. I'm glad I didn't wait to watch it. It is a great movie, a story about the decline of a gangster from the 1960's to the 1970's. I love this movie, the story and the performances by James Woods and John Travolta. The soundtrack is great and the cinematography is great. It is a must see!

I have to admit, I didn't know what to expect when I went to see this movie. It was a good movie, but I think I would have preferred it if it was a little more realistic. This movie shows what a real gangster looks like. I didn't know that some of the gangsters were real gangsters until I saw this movie. I really liked the movie, and I hope to see it again soon.

This is a movie that is not for everyone. The first time I watched it, I was skeptical, but I was wrong. The acting is superb, the plot is brilliant and the characters are very well developed. The only reason I gave it a 9 was that the movie could have been a bit longer, but I understand that the story needed to be told in one film. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did.

I can't believe it took me this long to see this movie. I have always been a fan of gangster movies, but never really had a favorite. I finally got around to seeing it and I'm glad I did. This movie is a great insight into gangster life and it's tragic end. The movie is extremely well done and it shows how gangster life is like. I was not expecting a lot from this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is very realistic and you get to see how gangsters live their lives. The acting is great, especially from Anthony Quinn as the "cool" guy and Bobby Cannavale as the "bad" guy. The movie has some great action scenes and a great soundtrack. I really recommend this movie to anyone who wants to see a great gangster movie.

I think that this film is one of the best movies ever made. I saw it in the cinema when it came out in the early 80's and I was so impressed by the way it was shot. The story is very well written, and the actors are perfect for the part. The story is very interesting and very moving. I think that this film is the best of its kind, and it should be a classic. This movie is not for everyone. If you are not a fan of gangster movies, then this movie is not for you. But if you are a fan of gangster movies, then you will love this movie. It is a great movie. The acting is great, the story is great, and the music is great. This movie is a must see for everyone. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves gangster movies.

Truly great, never heard of this film, but it's excellent. In this day and age of mixed views on the 'Nam, I've never been a fan of Martin Sheen or Al Pacino, but they are fantastic in this film. The plot is realistic, and never feels like it's in a way you can really sympathize with. The acting is good, especially from both lead actors. I don't really understand the bad reviews this film has received, but I don't think it's that bad. It's definitely worth a watch.
