The Breakfast Club is a wonderfully written, directed, and acted film that you should see. The story is simple. 12 year old Max (James Caan) is taken from his home in the slums of Chicago, Illinois, to a boarding school in New York. There he is taught by the eccentric, yet very charismatic and charismatic David (Bill Murray), an older, much older man. The two create a life for themselves in New York, where David teaches Max to walk, to talk, to "make" his own lunch. Max becomes obsessed with everything David teaches him. He begins to learn about computers and is eventually interested in literature. He starts taking an interest in music, and he finds a girlfriend, Gloria (Natalie Portman). Through all the teaching, David is trying to teach Max about life, because Max can't think for himself. Max's new life in New York is a big change for him. He meets up with his best friend, George (Peter Gallagher), and his sister, Marina (Julie Bowen). When he meets the teacher, Mrs. Christensen (Ellen Burstyn), he has no idea what to do. He can't think for himself, and he is struggling with his new world. Through his new world, he meets his new friends, many of them do not like him. But when he realizes his new friends like him, he begins to change. In a funny, touching, and very entertaining film, the wonderful James Caan, Bill Murray, and Ellen Burstyn make their presence felt on the screen. They have great chemistry together, and they make the film a great success. The writing is great, and the acting is great. The whole cast in this movie were excellent, and they did a great job in writing and directing this film. This film is funny, touching, and even funny in a "chick-flick" kind of way, like I said before, it's a really great movie. The thing that makes this film is the great writing and acting. It's a great story, the acting is great, and it's really a great film. This film is a masterpiece, a true masterpiece.
