OK, so I have seen many of the Star Trek films, and this was the second of the last. I found this one to be quite entertaining. I know that the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D were at the time (late 1960's) involved in a mission to a black hole, but I don't remember much more than what I've read in other reviews. I saw this film when it first came out, and I must admit, it was quite entertaining. I remember it being rather scary. I remember thinking, "This is not the kind of movie I would like to watch." But then I watched it again a few years ago, and I remember feeling so much better. I thought it was really cool, and I liked the way the story was told. It's also very interesting to see the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D in the role of the astronauts. They were supposed to be the pioneers of space travel, but they had to adapt to their new environment. The movie even had some pretty cool action sequences, such as when Spock and McCoy fight the Kaurans, and when they were fighting the Nausicaans. The acting was decent. I thought that Leonard Nimoy and James T. Kirk were very good in their roles. I also liked the fact that they were very different people. I thought they were very convincing. I don't remember a lot of special effects, but it was OK. In my opinion, the best scene was when Spock and Kirk were fighting the Nausicaans. That was the most fun. I thought the story was OK. I found it to be entertaining, and I enjoyed it. I would have liked to see more action sequences, but it was OK. I give this movie 7 out of 10 stars.
