The Upside was not the "sure thing" that many critics claimed it to be. After all, did the producers and star agree to direct it? The short answer is that they did. However, I will say that the film is entertaining and very well-acted, especially for a story about a bankrupt family and their teenage son who has a very difficult relationship with his father. Although the film is well-made and very well-edited, the script by Jean-Francois Richet does not have a lot of punch and is ultimately the reason the film is so enjoyable. The film is good in that it does not try to be too realistic or go for a conventional, cliche ending, and instead tries to show us that people can, and will, change. For example, the father of the younger boy, who is known to be a very abusive father, decides to take the boy in to help him out with the finances. He does not simply force him into selling the house, but makes him sign a contract that gives the boy the full ownership of the property, and also means that he will be a legal guardian of the son. His son does not know what to do about the change, and starts to fall in love with a girl that has been working in the house for a while. The change is not bad, but it does not make the film seem better. Instead, the change is shown as natural, as the son decides to see his father and eventually start to have feelings for him, and the father also does not try to hurt the son in any way. Instead, he is more concerned with getting his son back on the straight and narrow. I will say that I do not agree with the character of the older son, because he was never portrayed as being cruel or even insensitive. Instead, I believe that he was a bit naive. The father of the younger boy, though, is not as nice as he might appear. He is a bit on the crude side, but he does not seem to be such a cruel or abusive person. Instead, he is the father who seems to be actually caring about his son and helping him out whenever he can. As I mentioned, the script by Jean-Francois Richet is very clever. It is filled with witty dialogue and situations, and it is filled with brilliant moments of comedy and drama. While this may not be as good as a great screenplay, it is still a very enjoyable film and definitely worth seeing.

Like this movie, the concept of these two guys trying to solve a simple conundrum and give themselves a sense of accomplishment on their road trip is a pretty compelling one. I have been a fan of Woody Allen's for a long time and the man does a great job with this concept. He sets up this kind of premise and then lets it develop as the movie progresses. It's not like any other movie where you're constantly asking questions. Instead, the questions are presented to the audience and not something you have to be thinking about to enjoy. The characters are the main focus here, so the writers just have to get some laughs out of their characters and that's easy to do. Even the supporting cast does a nice job and bring some humor to the proceedings. Even though the concept itself is a nice one, it isn't the most interesting one. It's just the script that holds this movie together. The other thing that I can't help but notice is the pacing of this movie. The movie is on the edge of being boring but then it just plods on for a while and then gets to a point where it's sort of fun. The characters here aren't really the focus here and I can't really compare this movie to anything else in the genre. Overall, this movie is a nice idea that doesn't really get carried out on. It has its moments, but this isn't really the best movie in the genre by any stretch of the imagination. I'm sure that there are some people out there that love this movie and I would love to hear about their experience with it.

When I first saw the trailer for "The Upside" (watch the trailer, I was pretty excited) I really did want to see it. Now that I have seen it, I think that it is one of the most heartwarming and amazing films of the year, but it is not for everyone. The trailer is a little too "familiar", I think that is what makes it so special. The film is about a young man who is really struggling to find his place in the world, while he is friends with the perfect guy and they have a lot of fun. However, his best friend is very different and starts to have doubts in his relationship with the boy. I think this is a really great movie because it is so heart-warming and touching. It is just such a joy to see the great work that the cast, director, and everyone involved with the film have done. It was so wonderful to see how great and talented these guys are. I think that the story of this movie is really about someone who is really having trouble in life and is trying to find a place and way in life. So there are two characters in this film. One is the main character and one is his best friend. The actors and actresses did such a great job, as I said earlier, it is really a great film. The script is really good, the direction was just amazing, and everything that was done was really great. The music was very awesome, the dancing was very good, and everything was just great. This film is amazing. It is so heart-warming and touching and there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone should see this film, it is just one of the best films of the year. 9.5/10

I had no idea what to expect with this film. I thought it was going to be a pretty uninteresting character study about a guy who's older than his years, and his life as a skateboarder. Instead, it's a character study about how people make mistakes, and how they deal with them. It's actually pretty fun to watch. The acting is really good, with a couple of unexpected laughs in here and there. Also, I was surprised how many scenes the film didn't show from the main character's point of view. Some of the stuff is interesting and smart, but it's mostly a result of the director not really paying attention to where the story is going. That's a bad sign for a director, as it can make a film seem flat and boring, but director Michale (Thomas Lennon) pulls it off very well. One of the things I really enjoyed about the film is how it doesn't shy away from showing the real flaws of these characters, and makes them out to be real, ugly, and dangerous. I'm not sure that this is something you can get from a "found footage" movie, but it works here. It's nice to see characters who are in such a rough place in life, and to have some of them even survive. It makes the film feel very real. The film has a great feel and style, and is well written. It does have some moments that don't work, but I think the film should have gotten a lot better reviews. It's not perfect, but it's still really well done. The film is not perfect, but it's a great movie and worth checking out. 7.9/10
