The movie is about a young boy named Max, who lives with his parents in a remote village in the Austrian Alps. They are struggling with the fact that Max has a genetic disorder. He is unable to speak, is mute, and suffers from epileptic fits. At the beginning of the movie, Max's father gets a job at the local ski resort. But this job doesn't bring Max any financial benefits. However, Max's father doesn't want to lose the work. As a way of making up for his son's disability, the father decides to drive him to the ski resort. Along the way, Max meets a woman named Bertha who gives him a jacket and tells him that she has an interesting story about her father. Bertha explains that her father died when she was only a little girl, and she was brought up in the village. As a way to bring her to the ski resort, Max invites Bertha to live with him, but Bertha is reluctant to leave her family. As the movie progresses, Max begins to reveal more about his life. The events that unfold in this movie are quite moving, and are very interesting. There are some scenes that are very difficult to watch, such as the scenes that Max and Bertha share. This movie is very important for the cinema industry because it will inspire other movies to be made about such issues. I think that this movie is a great success because it teaches people that not only is a disability a disease, but it also has a positive effect on a person's life. The movie is a great example of the power of cinema.
