Bolton is a superb director and he can create compelling stories with just one scene or a few lines. There was never a dull moment in this film. Every moment was filled with amazing drama and tension. All the actors were fantastic. It's a shame that a sequel isn't on the way. I would love to see how 'The Loving Story' is told.

The actor's performance in this movie is just beautiful. I have been looking for a good movie ever since I saw this movie. I also saw it when it came out on DVD. I still watch it every now and then. It's just very rare that you see a movie that makes you cry at the end and like this movie. I've seen quite a few movies over the years but this is the first one that made me cry. I watched this movie in a theater with about 80 other people in front of us and it was a major let down. Some of the good and some of the bad. I would definitely recommend this movie to any movie lover or anyone who doesn't like the big budget movies. I'm so glad that I saw this movie. I have seen it 4 or 5 times and I think I'll see it again in a theater.

This is a brilliant film and a truly brilliant film, in every sense of the word. In spite of all the accolades it has received, and its sales figures, this film is still under-rated, but so are its merits. This film is the product of a very talented, talented group of people, not just David James and the entire cast, but the whole crew and crew of the film. A director, a writer, and a cinematographer all come together to make this film. This film is a beautifully made film, that all who see it must be entranced by the images, and feel the feelings that the film evokes. If you haven't seen this film, please do so, and you will not be disappointed.

Being Irish myself, I had a pretty bad feeling about this movie, mainly because I saw the trailer and it looked to be a dull, unremarkable, but then came the trailer and I realised it wasn't. So, I went to see it with very low expectations. It was the first movie I have seen that really captured my heart, a journey that would have seemed to be a simple story, but to me it was a journey I could not turn away from. The story itself was not so much about an Irish tragedy, but a path of redemption and triumph. The scenery was beautiful and the acting was top notch, particularly by Dermot Mulroney. This movie deserves every award it has been nominated for, it will never be forgotten. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is because of the running time, I think it would have been more engaging if there had been more time given to the boy's story. The entire way through the movie I found myself getting emotionally involved, but then I felt so sorry for the boy who, although an innocent, had to endure such cruelness, not from the boy who is such a beautiful young boy. A film that will stay with you for a very long time.
