In this entertaining remake of the original 1950's movie, the evil Dr. Hallstrom (Richard Dreyfuss) has been frozen and he's trying to reach the earth's core in order to get a piece of gold which could potentially make him wealthy. Unfortunately, he finds a few pieces of gold in the ice that he needs to break through, and he can't break it. As the only man to save him, Burt Young (George Kennedy) agrees to help. Young has a brother who is killed in the line of duty and Burt is so angry that he refuses to help Dr. Hallstrom and his son. Eventually, the younger Hallstrom realizes his father's mistake and recruits his brother to help Burt. As Young and his brother are fighting in the ice, Burt Young realizes that the ice is soft, and he decides to break through it using his wits and his fists. In the process, he kills Dr. Hallstrom's son, and he is believed to be dead. Burt Young goes to live with his brother's wife and son, who is now an elderly man. However, when Burt Young is around, he is very calm and polite, so much so that he can easily convince his brother that he is actually the son of Dr. Hallstrom, which makes his brother's wife start to distrust Burt Young. This movie is a must-see. It's full of suspense, excitement, and fun. This film has been updated for the modern age, and it still holds up today. Richard Dreyfuss is in this movie, and he's just as good in it as he was in the original. He's even better than in the original. I also liked the addition of David Warner, who played Dreyfuss's brother. He was a great addition to the film. The special effects are great, the action scenes are great, and the jokes are great. This is a great movie for all ages, and I recommend it to anyone.

I'm a big fan of the original "The Weather Man", so I was pretty excited to see this one. And what an enjoyable experience it was. "The Weather Man" is one of my favorite movies of all time. And it has many of the same elements that make the original so enjoyable. The film is set in a small town in Texas, where it stars a man named Tommy Jarvis (played by David Duchovny). Tommy is a weather man, and he was born in the wrong era. His father was a criminal, and he had a young brother who was also a criminal. So Tommy grew up in the wrong era, with a family that is dangerous and chaotic. He now lives with his wife and son, and they live in a safe and pleasant town. But a storm is coming. In this storm, a man named Stephen Weathers (played by Jason Patric) will try to take over the town. Tommy and Stephen are in a relationship, but they are not happy with each other. Tommy's wife left him, and now he has a young son. And he is not sure if he should take Stephen to live with him or to marry him. But Tommy decides to take Stephen to live with him. So Tommy and Stephen start a family together. And the film is about how Tommy and Stephen become closer, and how they help each other out. There are many different things going on in this film, like the humor, the humor that Stephen and Tommy have, the fighting, and the action. The special effects are also pretty good. The weather man is a very detailed character, and you can really feel the emotion in him. So this movie is fun, but it also has some serious moments. It is also a bit dark, but I found that it was necessary. It is a family film, so I think that there should be some humor in it. So you will definitely enjoy this movie. 8/10

Walt Disney Pictures has once again produced a thrilling, fun and intelligent thrill ride that delivers. An unlikely disaster unfolds when a storm hits Oklahoma, sending a giant tornado through a town, killing thousands and putting many of the inhabitants into a state of shock. Things only get worse when it's discovered that the tornado that struck the town was in fact a Russian satellite called "Siberian." What started out as a spectacular eye-candy flick, "Walt Disney Pictures Presents: The Storm" delivers in spades. The special effects are great, the acting is excellent, the script is hilarious, the music is great and the overall tone of the movie is one of real entertainment. This film will appeal to any age and will entertain the viewer for an hour and a half. "The Storm" also deserves a special mention for the fact that it was made by the studio that was the first to bring us the masterpiece, "Toy Story" and this film also has the "Tangled" series, which is a good thing, because it's been done to death. The special effects, like all films from Walt Disney Pictures, have an effect on the viewer and this film has that effect. This film was directed by Darren Aronofsky and produced by the same people who brought us the wonderful "The Wrestler." The special effects were so incredible that they are comparable to those seen in "A Beautiful Mind" and the acting is wonderful. I have always been a huge fan of Billy Zane and this film gives him an opportunity to shine in a film that he has never really been in before. Now he has the chance to star in another big film, and hopefully, it will be one of the best films of the year. The Storm is great fun for anyone who has a sense of adventure and has a taste for thrillers. If you love films like "Lincoln," "The Last Samurai," "Saving Private Ryan" and "Gladiator," you will love this film.
