I am a big fan of Juliette Binoche's, and I find that I always need to see a movie with her in it. This one fits the bill for me, a cute, innocent, but mysterious story about a young girl with an unrequited crush on a man. I never knew who he was, and I'm not sure that I would have liked the story if he had been better known, but I still like it. The story is about their life together, and their paths crossing. The story is very "universal" in that it is a tale of two "lost in life" people, who must find each other. That is the "universal" message, although the movie takes its time on the details of their relationship. I did not feel that it took too long to get to the story, and the movie moves very quickly. I also appreciated the fact that the story was not "hollywoodized", it was not cliched, and I enjoyed seeing what happens to these two. The acting was all right, the special effects were good, and the writing was good. There were some flaws in the writing, but I thought the flaws were not big enough to distract from the movie. I liked the ending, and I really liked the character of Juliette. She is not a bad actress, she is just the right actress for this movie. I hope that this movie will make her a more recognizable star, and a more recognized actress in the future. In closing, this movie is really good for the whole family, and I really hope that she gets the recognition she deserves. (If you haven't seen this movie, you should see it before you leave.)
