Description Tina, who has grotesque, almost animal-like physical features, has always felt self-conscious about her looks. Regardless, she has: a live-in boyfriend, Roland, a dog trainer, at her isolated house in the woods, although they have never had sex, and Tina's father, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, believing he is solely using her; the unconditional love and support of her father; a small group of friends; and the admiration of her bosses and coworkers in her job as a customs agent at the airport, as she is literally able to "smell" human emotions, especially guilt and fear. It is using that innate ability that she stops a seemingly straight-laced person entering the country, he who was found to be carrying a memory card containing child pornography. As such, her immediate supervisor, Agneta, places her on a small investigative unit to discover the producers of this material. Tina is surprised when she is found to be incorrect about another person going through customs, Vore, an entomologist who, like her, possesses those similar grotesque, almost animal-like physical features, he who is found not to be carrying anything incriminating. In Vore and Tina's multiple encounters at customs, the two begin a friendship, Tina, for the first time, believing she having found a kindred spirit. As Tina learns more and more about Vore, the more she learns about herself. As more and more information comes to light, Tina has to decide whether to abandon the life she has known in its entirety for the future that Vore offers her, that future which may go against what she has always believed to be the good about being human.

Well, almost everything I could say about "Finen-Gras", I could say about "A Time To Kill", "The Sixth Sense", "Varsity Blues", "All The President's Men", "Lost In Translation", and "Bullet to the Head" - except that the "Bullet" scenes were obviously lifted from "Bullet". I've said all that before, but in case it doesn't make sense, here goes: "Bullet" was an atrocious movie. It was a piece of grime. It was a lot of nonsense. "Finen-Gras" was a decent movie. This is a review of "Finen-Gras". It's not that it was bad. It was entertaining. It wasn't "bullet" but it wasn't good either. "Finen-Gras" could have been much, much better. But, it was still a decent movie, the kind that you can watch and enjoy. This is what "Finen-Gras" was like. For people who think that the whole movie is "bullet" scenes lifted from "Bullet", "Bullet" and "A Time To Kill" - you're wrong. When you watch the movie, you're actually seeing a very clever piece of film-making. It was clever because it was intelligently done. It was clever because it was aware of how movies work. "Finen-Gras" isn't a bad movie - in fact, it's better than a lot of movies I've seen, and it's better than a lot of movies I've never seen. It was smart. The characters were well-written. The pacing was clever. The acting was good. The writing was well-done. All in all, the movie is worth watching, even if it's not as good as "Bullet". The movie is witty, well-acted and clever, intelligent. But it isn't "bullet", and it isn't good. I'm giving it a 7/10 because "Finen-Gras" is worth watching. I give it a solid 7/10 because it's one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Don't hate the movie because of the alleged "bullet" scenes. Trust me, they weren't really that "bullet" and they weren't the "bullet" I was expecting. I give it a 7/10 because it's one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

In 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis the world was in turmoil with the threat of nuclear war, and the Soviet Union threatened to use a nuclear weapon on its western allies. Now in the era of "Cold War 2.0" the world is still in turmoil, with the world's major powers engaged in a war with each other. Five different stories take place in the last fifteen years. One is set in the mid 1960s, the last years of the Cold War, the other in the 1980s, the post Cold War, and the other, the present day, the time of the film, is set in the year 2013. In each world the main character is struggling to discover the truth about a conspiracy that affects the world. In all of the stories the major characters face challenges, both personal, and political, and in many cases come to blows, some are eliminated by their enemies, some are killed, and the loss of life on all sides is extreme. A major theme in the film is the alleged danger of the existence of a nuclear weapon capable of destroying all life on earth. One of the main characters, Isaac, who was a leader of the Cuban Missile Crisis, is seeking the truth about the conspiracy, while in the other story a "hero", Ben, is also searching for the truth. One of the main characters, Jack, is searching for the truth about the conspiracy, while in the other story a "hero", Abby, is also searching for the truth. Although the main character Isaac and his two main companions face challenges in their search for the truth, both of these characters face enemies. For the hero of the film, Ben, his enemies are his rival, Jack, and the villain, Isaac. Jack is a former United States Intelligence officer who became disillusioned with the Bush Administration and who was recruited to help the Soviet Union with his revelations. Isaac, in turn, is the chief of a terrorist cell that the United States Government created to assassinate a CIA agent in Moscow. The major themes of this film are the use of the truth to gain political advantage, the risk of the discovery of secrets, and the consequences of those secrets. The film is an enjoyable movie. The themes of the film, in their fullest forms, are never overtly stated, and the characters' reactions to the various revelations are not sharply defined. However, in the film they are all voiced, and very much allude to. Isaac's interrogation of Ben by his "other", Jack, is an example of this. The main themes of the film are always the same, the use of the truth to gain political advantage, the risk of the discovery of secrets, and the consequences of the revelations. However, the movie was never a "heavy" film, and is a very easy to follow movie. If you are a fan of either John Wayne or Anthony Quinn, you should probably take the film a bit more seriously than I did, but for a movie that is as basic as this one it should be all right. For this movie I would give it a 7/10.
