With a cast of some of the biggest names in film, one might expect a great movie from this group of actors. Sadly, "Grammy" and "M.I.T." make up the vast majority of the entertainment. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from these films, and I wasn't even really disappointed. I just couldn't take my eyes off of Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, and Jeremy Irons. All three of these actors were outstanding, and their performances were as good as I've seen them. The film, "The Wiz," also features this trio. The musical numbers were brilliant, and I would recommend that anyone who has not seen the film to do so, and see how well the music is done. I also liked how "the Wiz" was set in Brooklyn, but it also feels more like New York City, and is not really Brooklyn. I think it worked well, and really brought out the Brooklyn feel. I just didn't think it was very accurate. I am not a fan of Ben Affleck, and I'm not a fan of Christian Bale. I think they did a great job with their characters, and I think that it was very well done. The film "The Help" was a much better film than I thought it would be, but it also didn't do anything for me. I thought it was pretty good, but I'm still not a fan of the characters. They were okay, and they were decent, but not great. "Chasing Amy" was also good, but it's still not my favorite film of the year. I think the majority of people will enjoy this film, but it's not my favorite. Overall, I enjoyed "The Wiz" and I think it is one of the better films of the year. 7/10

David has no father, his mother is a housewife and his father is an absent-minded, alcoholic. The film opens with a red car, the driver, a "professional". There is some sentimentality and the tone is slightly sentimental. David gets a job as a crane operator at a concert hall, where he learns the ropes. He also learns that he is going to be a father, and becomes extremely attached to his son. The film's tone is not subtle. David has the emotional maturity of a child, but he also has a strong adult voice. There are a few moments when his emotions are shown, but they are few and far between. David is known as a romantic. He has a particular fondness for cars, particularly those of the 1940's. One scene is where David gets in a taxi and drives away with a lady, who claims that he has been a chauffeur for many years. The woman is not impressed. It is this kind of sentimentality that makes the film interesting, but at the same time, its underlying sentimentality, that can be jarring. Also, the film is not without its flaws. It could have been much better. It is well-acted, but it has a few too many "why" moments, that can be distracting. One scene with David and a boy is somewhat contrived, but it is still a pleasant moment in the film. The scenes of David's mother in the hospital and the final scene are well-done, but at times, they feel too staged. A few scenes were unintentionally humorous. Some of the scenes were predictable, such as when David tells his son about his father. The film could have been better. But overall, it is a good film. It is a drama with some humor. The film has some emotional resonance, but it could have been better. However, it is a good film.
