Horror is my favorite genre. I love Halloween, and I love Evil Dead II. And it's only fitting that I love Halloween 2: Hellraiser II. In this sequel, which was, unlike its predecessor, one of the most successful sequels ever, the ghost of the first movie shows up to terrorize our family once again. But this time it's an all-new character, a far more terrifying evil force called the Coven of Nosferatu. The Coven of Nosferatu has never been depicted on the big screen before. But, in a typical Halloween fashion, we get a lot of special effects, lots of blood, and a whole lot of the usual Halloween props. The movie takes place in the 1970s. While I would have liked to see a more modernized version of the world we see in the movie, the film does a good job of bringing that era to life. However, some of the special effects don't quite work. For example, one of the family's cars has a vinyl soundtrack that is almost impossible to hear through the speaker system. Other special effects seem a little unrealistic. For example, the car of the baby's uncle is essentially the same as the car used in the original film. The twins' parents are identical twins, but it doesn't look like they are. Also, the main plot of the film seems to be rather cliched. However, I thought that the ending was great. This movie is full of great special effects. The first film was made in the 70s, and the effects were great. This film, however, has the effects of the 80s, which are more realistic and well-done. The best effects are the Coven of Nosferatu themselves. The characters in this film are more interesting than they were in the first film. And the dialogue in this film is better than any of the dialogue in the first film. Overall, I thought that this movie was a fantastic sequel. The special effects are fantastic. And the dialogue is great. Overall, I give this film a 9 out of 10.
