The production is very good, and it's worth seeing the movie. But, if you're expecting a documentary on the war, don't expect to see the entire thing. As a movie, it's a mixed bag. The film is very effective at telling the story of the Holocaust, but it also features a lot of other things. Some of it is really good, like the voice over from the Holocaust Museum, the way the film highlights the differences between the different types of German soldiers. Other parts are a bit cheesy, like the scene where the American soldiers get too close to the Nazi soldiers and they all start running away. Another part that really annoyed me was when they went to the camp and they saw all the little girls running around in the camps. They must've known that they were being killed, right? And the little girl who was always running and hiding, she's in the camp for two years, and she's got a thousand dollar bag on her shoulder. What the hell? And the movie doesn't even really talk about how the Americans got there. It's just another scene to show how brave they were. There's a lot of other things that annoyed me. The movie does a great job of showing the Germans as evil people. But, the Germans weren't the only ones who were evil. There were also the Jews, the gypsies, and the French. The Germans were also cruel. And there were other groups who were treated badly. And some of the actors, like Danny Glover, really made the movie. But, as a movie, it's very good. I give it a 7 out of 10.
