I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well this movie turned out. From the beginning, I was intrigued by the director's use of cinematic techniques to evoke a sense of unease, but I knew it was going to be a fantastic piece of film. I mean, there were a couple of times when the audience was completely relaxed and I was thinking that maybe I should start relaxing too, but then I would hear a crack or a door slam, and I would immediately turn my head and look at the screen. It was in my mind that I was thinking the movie was going to end. Then when it ended, I would turn my head and see another crack, or a door slam, and I would immediately turn my head and look at the screen. And so on and so on. My heart was beating so hard and I was wanting to continue watching and enjoying the movie, but I wanted to know if I was still the same person as I was when the movie began. In other words, did I go on to enjoy the movie? It was almost like I was watching the movie a second time. All of a sudden, I was able to recognize every single detail of the movie, and it was like I was an expert. It was like I had the movie memorized in my head. You know, I always say, "Sometimes you gotta be a little careful watching the movie, because you never know how it's going to end." This movie is definitely one of those movies. It was so suspenseful that I was not sure if I would leave the room after watching it, but I did and I am still curious as to what is going to happen next. All I know is that I will be watching this movie over and over again. I'm definitely looking forward to the next movie, and I cannot wait to see the writer's next movie.
