I watched the trailer for this film before reading any reviews. I decided to watch it anyway. I didn't really know what to expect, so I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I expected. It's a horror film, yes, but it's also a psychological thriller. It's not a fast-paced horror film. The film is more of a slow burn than it is a straight-forward horror film. There's no jump scares or blood-letting or any of that. It's very carefully paced, so you don't feel like it's rushed. There's a lot of great dialogue in the film, and I'm really happy they used it. The movie is about a woman named Jane (Maggie Grace) who's having a lot of problems. She's trying to find her lost daughter, and she starts to become paranoid when she's not around. One night, she's confronted by a woman named Tanya (Alice Krige). Tanya has been stalking Jane's family and she has been using her as a guide. She wants Jane to tell her what she knows. After she convinces Jane to tell her, Tanya kills her. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the script, the way they used dialogue to make the film even better. It's a very emotional film. There are so many great lines in the film, and the way they were written was really beautiful. They all had a lot of depth, and I really felt for the characters. I really liked the movie, but it was a little bit more "slow burn" than I thought it would be. I also thought it could've been a little bit more violent, but they did a good job of not giving it that much of a edge. It's a good film, and it's definitely worth seeing. I really think that it's one of the best horror films of the year.
