The basic plot is simple: a group of young Chinese get separated from their parents in the cities and find themselves in a remote village in the countryside. They are taken in by the locals, taught how to survive, how to live and how to love. But it's not all easy in the village. We see a variety of characters in the film. A master, a bad guy, a scholar and a local expert in witchcraft, as well as a local woman who has been pregnant by a wealthy family. There is a romance between a young girl and a local man, a woman is abused by a local family and a young boy takes a year to come to terms with his sexuality. We also get to see the people in the village talk about the older generation and what they want to do in their life. I really enjoyed this film. It's an absolutely great look at China in the 1970s. It's refreshing to see so many of the characters in the film aged so young, as well as the way the film moves from the city to the countryside. A lot of the characters are quite disturbing, like the teacher who is extremely cruel and tells the kids to make him very happy. He teaches them how to kill a fish and how to make money. The local lady is just as disturbing, as is the doctor and the mad woman. The film also has some great shots. A couple of shots are very haunting, like the one of the teacher talking to the girl, and the final shot when the boys are eating. The film is also very touching. I feel like the film is more of a family drama than a horror film, but there are a lot of horrifying scenes in the film, and I couldn't help but be terrified of them. I also like how it's a film that looks at the class system and the hardships that Chinese kids go through, as well as the corruption and the lack of morals. It's a good film, but it's not for everyone.

Though some people in Taiwan may be unfamiliar with the novel "The Thief Who Came from the Mountains", this movie, directed by Piao Tong (Christopher Lee), takes a step beyond the novel's story of a young man who wants to be a writer and loses his way and becomes a thief. Like most films dealing with the classics, this one is a minor classic in the Chinese cinema canon and deserves attention as it touches on many areas that are not as common in mainland Chinese films. Piao Tong's film is based on the novel "The Thief Who Came from the Mountains" by Jie Pan, who created the original story. In this movie, Lee does a good job translating the original novel to the screen. The film centers on young thief and a hot-headed, chaotic young girl named Ting (Theodore Chan), whose mother died when she was young. She lives with her father, who runs a shop, and her brother. Ting's father takes her on a trip to a mountain where he believes he has found his daughter. Ting falls in love with a local man who follows her. She tries to avoid her feelings for the man but falls in love with him. She finds a way to make the man fall in love with her. She learns that her mother's treasure is hidden in a secret cave. The woman who follows her finds the treasure but Ting is killed. The woman falls in love with the man who would kill her. He wants to marry her. He does not want to marry her but does not know how to raise children. He cannot raise her in the proper manner. As Ting dies, the man becomes a recluse, becoming depressed and is not even able to kiss her. He is still a man who loves her and wants to see her again. He has another woman to see. There is a woman who wants to see him. He realizes that he is in love with her but he cannot admit it. In the end, Ting is a woman who cannot help her father, who is now a recluse, but she lives with him and is in love with him. The director of the film, Piao Tong, has done a very good job at translating the novel to the screen. The script by Piao Tong and Wu Xian (Christopher Lee) was extremely well written. The characters are well developed. The setting is great and the cinematography is great. The actors and actresses are very good. The music is also very good. Piao Tong did a great job in the direction. The camera angles are great and the film has a very good use of black and white. Piao Tong is one of the most talented directors in Chinese cinema. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves Chinese cinema.

There is not much I can add to the many reviews I have read about this film. One thing that I feel is relevant to those who have already seen the film is that this film, despite it's unique story, is not about making a difference or being a savior. The main protagonist of the film is not a master of the arts, he is a poor man who was denied the possibility to realize his dreams. But because he was not given a chance to "go with the flow" by his government and the status quo, he is "forced" to act out his dreams. In other words, this film is about showing the audience what it is like to be an immigrant living in a country that seems to refuse to let you have a chance. What it is like to be poor and to be "stuck" in an area where you cannot move out. The main protagonist is not made to be some great hero or somebody who helps the people. He is just an ordinary man who has to go through a lot of struggles just to get out of the life he has. This is one of the things that I love most about this film. Not only is it an interesting and challenging story, but the characters are not heroic in the traditional sense. In this film, the protagonist is made to be a person with a genuine desire to accomplish his dreams, but he is still portrayed as an ordinary man who just wants to live his life. I feel that it is this simple fact that makes this film so great. In many other films, the protagonist is made to be someone who is "above" the law, a man who doesn't care about anything other than making money and living the high life. However, in this film, the protagonist is not made to be some big "hero", but rather a normal man who has to work hard just to survive. And finally, this film is not about who is "the hero" in the story, but rather about what this film is trying to show us. As I said before, the main protagonist is not a great hero, but rather a normal man who is forced to go through hardships just to survive. This is what makes this film so great. One thing that I was also surprised about was how well the film kept my attention. While I was watching the film, I was so immersed in it, I almost forgot about the time that I was watching the film. This is a great testament to how good a film can keep a viewer's attention. The use of voice overs in the film is great and is a strong point in this film. The film itself is beautiful and it is amazing how the camera works so well in the film. This is a very well made film, and it is one that I would recommend to anyone. The story is challenging, but the film is so strong that it does not really matter what the story is about. There are many things that the film can be about, but none of them matter if the film is strong enough to stand out from the crowd.
