We've been hearing about this film for about a year, and when we finally got to see it, we were extremely excited. We were disappointed. In fact, we were SO disappointed, that we turned it off, after 30 minutes. We were so excited to see how this documentary would be different than the average documentary. I was expecting to see a lot of the same old stuff we have seen before. What I didn't expect was how it would be different. This is a very different film than we have seen before. I am really glad that we went to see it, because it's really different from the documentaries we have seen before. The way it was made, was really amazing, and I was impressed with the way they filmed it. I also have to say, I think the most important thing that I learned from this movie was that the average person in this country has NO idea about the history of slavery, and it's very important for people to know this. To be honest, I think the people in the United States were kind of ignorant about slavery, and that's the best thing that I learned from this movie. The way the people that were there, did not really know what they were doing was really shocking. I think they were doing the best they could with what they had. There were some really good things in this documentary, and the people who made it were really good at what they did. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is into history, or documentaries, and want to learn more about this topic. I would give this movie an 8/10.
