i would have been at the theater not noticing the truth of what they had been telling me, as well as how they acted. I'm not so much of a political activist as a lesbian, but this film was a "blessing in disguise" for me, because it opened my eyes and opened my heart. Not just for gay people, but for everyone, and I for one am grateful for that. This is not an "AIDS flick" or even an anti-drug film. The portrayal of a homosexual experience in a heterosexual context is realistic, and this is something that many people are reluctant to see or know about. Some have remarked how dark this movie is and some have even said that they did not want to see it because of the subject matter, but all they did was look away. This is not a movie that can be either "slanted" or "porn-y." Many gay people have told me that the acting was excellent, and this is not just an attempt to raise the rating or to win awards. I loved the actors and the direction, and the message, but I will admit that there were some moments in the film that were so surprising that I was not prepared for. I will say that this movie has a great message and is a must see for everyone, but that it is not so much a political statement as it is a human story. This is a movie that should be seen and re-watched, and it is a story that we must tell the children who are afraid to come out of the closet. A person who does not fit the stereotype will see that he/she is "different," but what will you do, what will you feel? See it and you will feel something about yourself and your world.

I did not know much about this film before I watched it, but I'm very glad that I saw it. It is well-written and really captures the emotions of this period in history. This film is very different from the ones you may have seen before, in that it focuses more on the community, instead of focusing more on the cause. It shows that there was not just one movement of "Animals" but a variety of them. The characters are well-written and the acting is really good. It is nice to see Tom Berenger (who is also in the film) in a more dramatic role. He also did a great job in this film, which is a shame. One of my favorite scenes was when Sally managed to escape from the barn. The suspense was fantastic. It is very exciting to see them break into the barn to get Sally. I was surprised when they broke into the barn because the sound of the horse pulling up to the barn would have alerted the guards. I really do not understand why they would not break into the barn. I wish the film did not give too much away and had some surprises in it, but it does not. I also was very impressed by the music in the film. It was really well-done and really fit the scene. This is definitely a film that I would recommend to everyone. It is a very different type of movie to what you might have seen before, but it is still very entertaining. If you do not mind seeing a different movie, then I would suggest seeing this one. It is a very different story, but a good one. I give this film 9/10.

I am really impressed by this movie. After watching a couple of 'movies' about animals, I was really interested in the topic. 'J'aime tu m'aimes par la vie et le pose', 'Arbour au leur de l'apres s'e]e des sans coeur' etc. were the ones I mentioned, but they lacked what I'm looking for in a good movie: a philosophical view, a real sense of hope, etc. And I can say that, thanks to these movies, I learned a lot about the importance of equality, the profound importance of the human being, etc. I also learned that sometimes what we can say about animals, the animal in the movies and in society, is absolutely a lie. We don't really know what animals feel like, if they even care for their masters, if they have feelings or are not just servants. And what about the reference in the end to the main character's mother? Do the animals in the movie actually feel the same way the mother feels? Can she really be the same when she herself is the only person in the world who is aware of the fact that she is really just an animal? And when she herself is just an animal, can she have feelings? Do we really have to think of animals as just animals? And I must say that, after watching this movie, I have no doubt that the moral of this story is not always the same in every country. And we must, in the same way, remember that the people who try to live without caring about the animals, who abuse the animals and do nothing to them, are the same ones who try to destroy the very foundation of society.
